What can a new moon teach us?

All of the Universe is a vibration of energy. We are either vibrating in harmony or disharmony, vibrating frequency through our thoughts, words, actions, emotions, and feelings. What we put out to the Universe we receive back. Kundalini Yoga nurtures the recognition to resource the harmony and beauty within the messages gifted by the phases of nature to help us align into its vibration. Where the moons graceful female cycle forms as a life blood reminder of our own personal vibration of phases as a woman.  For our female energy waxes and wanes, ebs and flows much as do the seasons, tides and cycles of life. We simply can not present the same each and every day. Crafting a tending and attention to our own individual ever changing emotional garden with a piety to the self. Having a special attendance to taking care and allowing a container of delicacy for the me. This journey, our soul journey has selected the body we sit within now and with each moon phase it is a gentle reminder …

Shakti Power

Call to the Divine Mother, because the Mother is nearer than the Father ~ Paramahansa yogananda In the East, the great feminine has always been held in high esteem, not as a secondary source of power but as the primal power; the shakti that flows through our body and all of nature. In numerous texts on yoga, meditation and Eastern mysticism, we find references to different types of shakti Power – The great feminine energy that exists both within and without our bodies. As a force in the universe, shakti powers everything, from the planets in their orbit to the radiant power of the sun. Wether referring to the power behind gravity or the power of behind the speed of light, shakti its the term used to describe the operating power of the cosmos, from the smallest atom to the grandest galaxy. Any kind of force, power or influence has its genesis in shakti, and shakti is feminine in nature. In us, shakti is described in innumerable mystical texts as a serpent like power cell …

Intention Setting

Its time to reconnect with the self and to shift away from the vibrations of fear. There is so much written of this subject,  a potential controversy minefield. We contain the divine; the divine presence that weaves into and through every single thing here on Earth, including us. The qualities of masculine or Shiva energy; holding the vibration of action, initiation and power, partnered with the energy that the Moon reflects holding a feminine vibration, that of Shakti, containing qualities such as receptivity, emotion and intuition. It is clear that such a balance exists in all of nature, and it is beautiful. Such interdependency can swing drastically out of balance and the divine feminine aspect can begin her decline into virtual disempowerment. The feminine energetic qualities such as receptivity, openness and nurturing, along with healing, renewal, interconnectedness, intuition and wisdom, plus many more can loose their personal potency. With time, the divine masculine can loose its feminine counterpart. The way in which we do this is to embrace those divine feminine qualities which have been …

The Sacrum: The window to health

Learning about chakras the energy that runs from the base of the spine to the top of the  head is something I delve into when discussing the sacral region and planning sacral health within the sacral method programme. Within this space I delve deep into the sacral chakra and give headway to whether your chakra it′s functioning correctly or if it′s in need of a tune-up to bring it back into alignment? 1) Where is the Sacral Chakra? The sacral chakra is the second chakra. It′s found behind your pubic bone, immediately above the root chakra and below the solar plexus chakra. It′s called the sacral chakra, because it corresponds to the sacrum in the spine. It resonates with the music note of D. It′s possible to experience many indications in your physical, mental, or emotional state when this chakra is out of balance. For example, mood swings, lack of joy, feeling unfulfilled with your life, trouble relating to others, low self-esteem, and a lack of creativity are some of the symptoms you might experience. Physically, …
