Nourish |Appreciative, connective & intimate relationships

February invites in the culture of love; the topic of being a little more connective and melting into the essence of tenderness. Finding consciousness is the foundation to being that little bit more aware of being connective. How often do we project our wants upon others? Learning to be more connective To be heart centred is to be in alignment with the touching of the self, at this point you receive the match of coming together in relationships. Feeling into others, to see and to listen with deep alignment. Where the other person is you. Gratitude & acknowledgement Appreciate and acknowledge love in action, look for it and learn to soften to anothers heart and gesture. Invite in this gratitude and acknowledgement into your relationship space. Giving up the right to be right In the western world we are constantly evaluated and trained there is value in being right, but to what purpose? It is important to listen and observe, to retire the right to be right. To provide spaces of ‘listening scapes’ where learning …

Simple Agility

Georgina, is the founder of A fat lot of good. She lives with her three children. Each week, she writes about the sense—and nonsense—of life. I want to make a new groove, a time where we can identify with putting tweaks in the day to be a little more mindfully present, to Translate some good intent and action. [It’s] tiny tweaks: the tiny tweak of “I love this person—but every time they come home from work I hardly get up from my computer to even say hello to them,” ~ Susan David ~ Smart folk recognize the need to take a step back — to put the shiny new toy down for a minute to identify with the important values within the day. Emotional agility lets say, based on well established gratitude. Can we capture a moment in exchange for something truly meaningful? It is no conspiracy, we can consciously iron out a few personal imperfections here and there and find some unprecedented positive experiences and happiness with it. How do we engage, in practical ways, …

A recognition that bleeds into everything

Via Daily prompt : Recognize Georgina, is the founder of A fat lot of good. She lives with her three children. Each week, she writes about the sense—and nonsense—of life. Dear Strength – Recognize that today you will learn more about yourself, you will grow when in pain, you will change your perspective and you will get up and put on the cloak of fight. You will respect yourself, your boundaries and you will take heed to instinct as the universal nod to what is wrong and right. Don’t you dare ignore its energetic might. Be grateful, graceful and honourable to your four walls, speak with simple honesty and humility yet do put up a persistent personal fight. Leave when the time and signals are right. Endure, succeed and have tenacity to give it all your love and might. In the face of adversity rein in on the foundations of endurance not forgetting you can not change another’s voice when in height of fight. Be in awe of your courage to speak what you find uncomfortable …

Resist putting it off

Via Daily Prompt: Resist Georgina, is the founder of A fat lot of good. She lives with her three children. Each week, she writes about the sense—and nonsense—of life. Find Inner Peace, Improve Your Happiness and Health with Conscious Wellbeing tasks, here is shouting out to ‘Keeping In Touch’. Keeping in touch with supportive friends can help you deal with an orbit of stresses in life. There is nothing greater than catching up with those whom embrace kindness when face to face. Yet why is it not always possible to drop them that note or chat and keep the lines of communication open, we often resist the old fashion touch? It’s worth working at relationships, they make you feel loved and valued. None of us are superhuman, we all sometimes get tired and overwhelmed and it is that listening ear that acts as a cornerstone and counsel, how often do we take time to say thank you? Data suggests that over a third of visits to UK GPs are associated with mental health, investing in your …

Mid Life Relationship

Georgina, is the founder of A fat lot of good. She lives with her three children. Each week, she writes about the sense—and nonsense—of life. Many experts approach relationship challenges from the “deficiency model.” In this model, they identify what isn’t working, and work to fix those problems. On this statement I feel perplexed at the entire pressure around relationships and that perhaps we should look to the eye of the storm before its causal breakdown. A relationship is one where both people feel and have respect for themselves and with this have a deep bond between each other. In doing this it radiates and a natural stronger bond will flow. For me this starts with honouring my own body, creating a solid foundation and relationship with myself, from inside to out. Trusting and understanding my worth, my boundaries, my self value; a heart centred self love. This approach is about creating a solid foundation ‘for’ the relationship in me. One where both people feel a personal strength allowing a deep bond between each other. In doing this, there is …

Healing

Georgina, is the founder of A fat lot of good. She lives with her three children. Each week, she writes about the sense—and nonsense—of life. ‘Never hate the wrong man. Thank him, because if it weren’t for him, we wouldn’t have realized it was time for a change. He highlighted what we needed to fix inside ourselves. Because of him, we realized that we are only responsible for our own issues and happiness. Through him, we learned that it’s okay to be a little selfish. We must thank the wrong man, because thanks to him we will be ready to meet the right one.’ -Elyane Youssef. Sometimes it just happens naturally, other times it is forced yet I have spent the last month if not years decluttering; moving from one space to another both emotionally and physically. Secretly I weep for my boys growing up as men in a world that is rapidly loosing its embodied male identity. I feel a fiery role within to gift and create a profound experience to these three young men to create depth, …

Let the pain run through you {4}

Georgina, is the founder of A fat lot of good. She lives with her three children. Each week, she writes about the sense—and nonsense—of life. Be inspired by every new moon. Beauty is in the ordinary, in today, in your freedom, in your passions, in your friendships and in your self love. Feel just a little bit happy that it is at your fingertips. Pour and put behind you, dizzy memories that make you cry, be done; they are freckles, winged friends. Feel motivated that you have your eyes on today, it is a high freedom of a dizzy state of potential and excitement, of health. No need for complicated, I have spent the past week with my reading musings. Relaxation, exploration and embracing of forgiveness. Mindfulness, simplification, putting my eyes only to what makes me fly and just that little bit happy. Healing memories of old, decluttering to dizzy freedom. Who says its hard, who says you are quite not enough, it is only as you see it and hear it, the unhappy noise and …

Trust your eyes to give you the real picture

Irritation, why? The fact is we don’t trust our eyes enough to give us the real picture with what we sit within. The postcard that gives a proper picture of reality. Dogged by feelings of guilt for the need we have to make friends with our life, integrity, humility and honesty to situation. Unite not divide, a little tiny move or adjustment may encourage a reaction that brings a smiley face. It may take a little working out, discovery of a problem followed by control of self outrage. Yet you can not cut and paste the responsibility and ownership for your own personal life choices and suffering. The demise of our dear health is brought about by not chasing a calmed down one. Dire blackout phases of unplugging a connection with our inner intuition and voice, a phobia to finding courage to strike out for oneselfs’ health and wellbeing. Quite often we witness those who have a health demise initiated from a demand and importance to always be right and the winner. Yet it is …

The beauty of connectedness

Via Daily Prompts: Refresh & Clean Georgina, is the founder of A fat lot of good. She lives with her three children. Each week, she writes about the sense—and nonsense—of life. Dear you, It starts simply with you. Protect your sensitivity dear one, refrain from confiding your deepest and purest feelings to those that won’t cherish them dear. Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship you have. Stop engaging in destructive dances, be healthy and assertive and find your emotional freedom. Help others excel within your being for it is those whom are grateful for all the loving and kindness you have in your life and to be grateful for. Have a relationship with vulnerability not one based upon contracts of kisses and possessions. Walk with grace, accept a defeat, build your plans on today alone, for there is gratitude in every day and breath. Thrive, water and grew. Don’t listen to the patter and path of future stories invented by the inner voice. Park sources of exhaustion, look for your own emotional freedoms and …
